About iBAM

iBAM {iBhagavatam Aani Mutyalu) is an unique 'Not-For-Profit' spiritual organization, for the outreach for younger generation.
It was founded six years ago in the State of Texas in USA. Its mission is to present the essence of Bhagavatam through the development of mobile Applications (App) that would be easy to understand and be attractive to the digitally inclined younger generation.
For the App, iBAM has selected the story of Bhagavatam, as rendered by the famous Telugu poet, Bammera Potana (బమ్మెర పోతన). Of the total of 7,012 poems (పద్యాలు), iBAM has selected 364 for presentation as representative of the choicest pearls of Bhakti (devotion to God) and righteous way of Life.
Potana - a great Telugu poet of the 15th century transcribed the original Veda Vyasa's Bhagavata Puranam from Sanskrit into Telugu. The App consists of poems set to melodious and devotional music, audio and make them available for downloading on iPhone, iPad, Android and laptop. Each audio poem-rendering consists of the context, the poem itself and the summary so that the listener can have a deeper and a comprehensive understanding of the spiritual and religious aspects of the Bhagavatam.
The iBAM App can be downloaded for FREE, on any number of devices from anywhere and at any time, to honor the strong commitment of Poet Potana who refused to dedicate the Bhagavatam to any king to gain the riches or fame in his lifetime.
iBAM ORG has obtained a 501 (c) (3) Public Charity status in June, 2015 and has established iBAM Trust in Hyderabad, India on February 1, 2016 to successfully collaborate with other nonprofits for conducting events and activities in India.
